Socialization for your puppies is best in the first 16 weeks of a dog’s life.  Socializing teaches your dog how to react to the world around it in a healthy way, without unnecessary fear or aggression. Starting early can eliminate additional challenges for both you and your dog. 

Our Puppy Development program focuses on socialization with people, places, things and other dogs.  Dogs often become fearful and reactive toward other dogs because they simply haven’t been socialized (or properly socialized).  Happy Tails will soon be offering “Puppy Socials” to help your dog learn how to interact with other dogs.
