At Happy Tails, we believe that a well-balanced and happy dog is one with a structured routine, physical & mental exercise and remaining consistent with the rules & boundaries that were built for them during their training with Happy Tails.
There is a difference between a dog kennel and the service we offer at Happy Tails. Happy Tails is not a traditional boarding facility. Our boarding clients are those who have taken part in a resident training program and the services we offer reinforce the structured lifestyle they have learned with us. Happy Tails offers your dog the benefit of all of these services:

STANDARD BOARDING
- Standard boarding means your dog will be fully cared for by one of our Kennel Assistants!
- There are no extra fees for raw feeding, medicine administration or belly rubs!
- Dogs get out 5-7 times per day to stretch their legs outside and potty!
- They will be individually cared for and walked in our yard (not off the property) by our Kennel Assistants.
- We have a limited number of dogs that can board at once. Please schedule in advance to guarantee your spot at Happy Tails.
ENRICHMENT BOARDING
- All dogs are scheduled for Standard Boarding which gets them out of the kennel 5-7 times per day to stretch their legs, go potty and get some outdoor fresh air!
- When you add on enrichment activities, each activity will give your dog mental & physical stimulation – working one-on-one with one of our team members!
- Each activity will last 15-25 minutes.
- It’s customized! You get to choose whether your dog has more fun or more structure! We can mix in enrichment activities where they work on puzzles, play games, play fetch, or even enjoy group play with other dogs (only for the dogs that are OBSESSED with playing with other dogs!) You can mix in training reinforcement sessions where we can brush up on your dog’s learned commands (you tell us what to focus on most!) or we can schedule a real-world walk through the neighborhoods nearby! You can a have your dog have fun at Fit Dog doing strength & conditioning exercises, utilize our treadmills (dry and water!) or for the dogs who could use PEMF or laser sessions, we can sprinkle those in as well.
- Each individualized activity is $25. You can select 1, 2, 3 or 4 activities per day on top of your standard boarding or you can buy one or more 10-pack activity sessions to spread out throughout your stay! Each 10-pack of activities is 10% off (So $225 for a 10-pack of activities to split up throughout their stay). You can purchase multiple 10 packs.
- We also can mix in some fun sessions at our sister company Fit Dog Canine Fitness & Wellness.
- Updates on what they’re doing are posted in the stories on either the Happy Tails Instagram and Facebook pages @happytailsrule and/or the Fit Dog pages @fitdogmi
- Enrichment activities are available every day of the week but Training Reinforcement and Fit Dog sessions may have limitations on the weekends or holidays.
